On March 30, 2019, "the seminar of plant developmental biology" was successfully held in Shanghai Jiaotong University. At the invitation of Professor Zhang Dabing of School of life science and technology of our university, Professor gynheung an of Kyung Hee University and his team visited Shanghai Jiaotong University on March 29. Professor gynheung an, Professor ki Hong Jung, associate professor Yujin Kim, South China Agricultural University, Professor Xing Yongzhong, Huanong Agricultural University, and Professor Zhang Dabing, Professor Liang Wanqi, and Professor Yuan Zhengjiao from school of life science and technology, Shanghai Jiaotong University made wonderful reports respectively. The meeting was held by Professor Zhang Dabing's team. More than 40 teachers and students of our school participated in the meeting and had a heated discussion.

The conference was supported by the Ministry of education's "program of introducing talents for Discipline Innovation in Colleges and universities" (referred to as "111 program") and the international cooperation and Exchange Department of Shanghai Jiaotong University and the school of life science and technology. During the visit, Professor gynheung an, Professor ki Hong Jung and associate professor Yujin Kim of Kyung Hee University of South Korea also discussed and communicated with relevant teachers and students on the topic. Through this visit and exchange, Shanghai Jiaotong University and Korea Qingxi University have also reached a preliminary intention of further cooperation in academic exchanges, personnel exchanges and cooperation, and joint application for research projects, which provides a foundation for further strengthening the cooperation of plant developmental biology at home and abroad.
