植物生殖发育生物学是国际发育生物学研究的前沿和热点。 为加强国际国内合作，实施中英（NSFC-BBSRC）植物生殖发育/科技部“植物重要器官形成的遗传和表观遗传调控机理研究”重大基础项目（2009CB941500），在科技部资助下，2013年7月16日至7月20日，我们将主办“第三届植物生殖发育与育性国际研讨会”。会议将围绕国内外的植物生殖发育调控机理的进展情况，特别是新思想和新方法，以及在作物育种中的应用等进行交流。特诚邀您光临指导并做大会主题报告！

3rd International Symposium on Plant Reproductive Development

Dear Colleague:

We have the pleasure of inviting you to participate in the “3rd International Symposium on Plant Reproductive Development (ISPRD 3rd)” which will take place on July 16-20, 2012 in Shanghai, China.

The ISPRD is one of the most well-known scientific arena with high scientific standard. With the support from both China and UK government (MOST, NSFC and BBSRC), we believe that the symposium is relevant and up-to-date to the current situation faced by plant breeders in the whole world.

This year, the symposium will cover a wide range of issues with emphasis on understanding and discovery of new traits/genes for plant breeding such as male and female gametophyte development, biochemical and systems biology study in plant reproductive development and a lot more will be emphasized.
